Open for business!

For years I've had the shop name of Hearts & Flowers in the back of my mind, although I imagined a florist shop! However, I think that it will perfectly suit this little venture. All the items have been handmade by me, Jo Boland, a stay at home Mum to two little boys. I found that when staying at home all day I needed to do something for myself, something creative. So after making several things for our home and for friends and family as gifts I have decided to try to turn it into a business venture, albeit very small! I use fabrics by Cath Kidston and Laura Ashley and team them up with pretty ginghams and plain cottons. As well as the items shown below I plan to make Christmas bunting and tree decorations. I am going to buy in some Pink Spot fabric by Cath Kidston and will be making more kids aprons in both this colour and the blue spot which will be washable. Fabric Doorstops             £7.50 filled   £7.00 unfilled

Fabric doorstops filled with rice. A pretty yet practical way to keep the doors open or to stop the doors banging against the walls when the kids run through! Available in a variety of fabrics; CK - Cath Kidston fabric, LA - Laura Ashley fabric. Each doorstop measures approx H15 x W10 x D10cm and weighs approx 1.5kg when filled. To save on postage costs these can be made empty to order with a velcro opening in the bottom for you to fill with rice. Price remains the same.

Bunting               £12.00

Perfect for parties and celebrations, or for decorating the children's bedrooms. Made in a variety of colours using ginghams, plain cottons and Laura Ashley polka dot fabric. Each string is approx. 4m long and has 20 flags.  The flags are double layered and hemmed for neatness, each measures approx. 20 x 18cm. I am also making pirate themed bunting.

So cute, perfect for babies nursery, child's bedroom or over a picture frame. These are approx 1.5m long with 9 flags (just over 1m of flags) each flag measures apporx. 12 x 10cm. Available in a variety of colours.

Made from woven cotton, these bags are available in two different sizes; small approx. 24 x 24cm and large approx. 30 x 30cm. A variety of fabrics are available including Cath Kidston and Laura Ashley.

Child's PVC Apron             £5.00

Pefect for your little chef or budding artist. These aprons made from Laura Ashley PVC coated cotton fabric and are easy to clean, just wipe them with a damp cloth. They are designed for children aged between 2 and 6 years, measuring approx. 42 x 33cm.

These cute little wooden hearts look lovely hung on drawer and door knobs. They are painted in a range of 5 different colours and tied with twine. Two sizes are available; small measures approx. 4cm and large approx. 8cm.

Girls Hairclips        Pair 80p & Single 40p

Brightly coloured  hariclips with felt flowers. Available in different colours and in pairs or singularly. These are a one off and I only have one of each as shown.

Delivery charges will be calculated based on weight and size of the parcel. I will keep these costs to the minimum by also sending it by second class mail, unless you request otherwise.
