Location, Location, Location - Part 1

Well I have not been located at my laptop for some time that's for sure, apologies. Here's one of the more exciting locations I have been over the last few weeks.

Location - London

We spent a day in London at the end of May and had a fantastic time,

  • Visiting the Natural History Museum and marvelling at the dinosaurs.

  • Having a picnic lunch in Green Park with Buckingham Palace behind us (sandwiches and pastries from M&S and coffee from Starbucks).

  • Seeing Buckingham Palace, where the Queen lives.

  • Walking through St James Park.

  • Showing the boys Downing Street, through the big security gate!

  • Looking up at Big Ben

  • Walking across Westminster Bridge over the Thames, looking back to the Houses of Parliament and the Westminster cityscape.

  • Walking back over the bridge and down to Westminster Abbey.

  • Riding in the back seat on the top deck of a red double decker bus!

  • Visiting our friends Laura, David and their son Zack.
  • Boys sitting on David's motorbike.

  • Having coffee and chatting whilst the three boys played together.
  • Playing football in a nearby park (lots of fun).

  • Eating a barbeque dinner on their roof terrace.

  • Saying sad goodbyes and travelling home. 
     
    We had such a great time in London seeing the sights and spending time with our friends. The boys top priority was seeing Zack! Thanks Laura and David for such a great time - can't wait to come up again to see you, and you know where we live, right?

    I've only managed to scrap one photo from our trip to London so far, I'm planning more. When I uploaded the photos to my laptop I noticed our reflection in Callum's sunglasses (actually they were Jeff's sunglasses) in a photo taken whilst having our picnic lunch (the photo is above if you want to see it larger).
