Halloween 2010

Two knights and a real castle

Boys knights frame-web
Last Monday we headed to Corfe Castle, a favourite place for the boys. The weather was simply glorious, beautiful blue skies and no wind. It was 12 degrees C but truly it didn't feel that cold, which meant that the numerous layers of clothes we had come dressed in were soon peeled off.

The National Trust had set up a Halloween Quest for the kids, spooky facts about the castle were hidden amongst the ruins, so off we went in search of them.

And then it was time to dress up!

How cute are they? Definitely Callum's favourite part of the day!

Next we headed to Lulworth Cove a few miles up the coast, a beautiful horseshoe shaped bay.

The boys played on the beach whilst Jeff and I sat together enjoying the warmth from the sinking sun and watching the boys play happily with the sand and stones.

We all had a lovely, lovely day out.
