Holiday, holiday, holiday

It seems that bank holidays are like buses at the moment. You wait for ages for one and then loads come along all at once! But it's all good as is the weather! Talking of holidays, the boys and I had a lovely holiday with Jeff's parents in Northern Ireland, while poor Jeff had to stay at home and work. Here's a little recap of what we got up too.
Day 1
1. At the airport, Callum on the phone to Daddy and Matthew reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. 2. On the plane as it is taking off, note the boys holding hands - sweet. 3. Me with a cappucino, a magazine and a spare seat next to me - bliss. 4. Boys 'in-flight entertainment', C reading a book, M writing in his mini-book (see last post).
Day 2.
1, 2 and 3 Bangor Pier. 4 and 5 The Long Hole (last photo taken by Matthew). 6. Badminton at Uncle Mikes.
Day 3.
1. M playing Sonic on Jeff's old Sega Megadrive. 2. Crabbing, but only one crab bit! 2, 3, 4 and 5. Down by the sea at Brompton, Bangor. 5. Fishing with Uncle Mike - even less successful than the crabbing! 6. At the Boyd's, catching up with Janine over a coffee. 7. Football, Barcelona vs Liverpool!
Day 4.
1. Carrickfergus Castle - with the lovely Sheila and Janine. 2. Carrickfergus Castle. 3. Callum "I think we're here". 4. All the kids on the canon. 5. All us 'girls' on the canon! 6. Little Maid Maddison running away from boys weilding swords and axes!. 7. Starbucks - yeah! 8 and 9. A trip to Smyth's Toy Store results in two little Lego Kits. 11 to 12. Early Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandad Bolands - buckets at the ready! 13. An evening at Sheila's with Janine and Sheila's teeny weeny 8 week old puppy - oh so cute.
Day 5.
1 to 8 Mount Stewart Gardens. 2. Another Easter Egg Hunt. 3. Expecto patronum! 4. New ferns unfurling. 5 and 6. Amazing topiary. 7. Lovely leaves. 8. Me and the boys. 9. Over at The Boyds for another football match, Callum celebrating a goal with a less than willing Patrick! 10. Playing Fifa on the Wii for Matthew and Patrick and Lego Ninjago for Callum and Conor. 11. Looking at the loveliness on Etsy and Two Peas in a bucket with Janine on her lovely Macbook. 12. Playing draughts with Callum. 13. An unfinished Chess match between Matthew and Grandad. 14. Made-up storytime with Grandma.
Day 6.
1. At Belfast Airport. 2. Getting on the plane. 3. Greeted by Daddy. 4 and 5. Beautiful wisteria in full bloom at home.
As for my Scrapbook on the Road mini-book, I haven't finished it yet, I'm going to upload my photos and get them printed, but I'll show you when I've completed it. Hope you've been enjoying the long weekends. Be back soon!
