Easter Fun

Easter Sunday was lovely and sunny, perfect weather for an Easter Egg Hunt and a water fight! The boys loved the egg hunt. Off they went with their little blue buckets (which my sister and I used to play with) looking for eggs. They both couldn't wait to eat their eggs, so mid-way through they sat down and had a little egg each! Here's some photos...
And here's a layout I've put together to remember this special occasion. Bought the Basic Grey paper just for this event a little while ago!
Oh and the water fight. Well, my sister Janet bought some water pistols and as it turns out they were great fun, especially with the warm sun! Matthew loved squirting everyone, nobody escaped not even Grandad! Callum had trouble squeezing the trigger and mainly had his turned towards himself, thereby getting himself wet! (see picture 2). Jeff and I had a water fight of our own, it was such a laugh. No photographic proof of our fight unfortunately, but here's some with the boys.
Yesterday we went to Monkey World which is about an hour away. I had won some free tickets in a draw at Matthew's Pre-school Navity and with Jeff off and nice weather we thought we'd go and see what it was like. The boys loved the monkey's, Callum kept saying "monkey, there!" and even made a monkey sound, so cute. They both came away with a ring-tailed lemur (toy) which they had seen at the zoo, plus they are in one of Matthew's favourite films, Madagascar.
After Monkey World we went to Lulworth Cove, a natural harbour with cliff's surrounding it. So pretty, Jeff and I could have spent the afternoon sitting, looking and enjoying it - however we have children. Children who either want to throw large stones into the sea or climb the cliff face! We decided we'd definitely like to go back, but maybe when the boys are a bit older!
