Just LOVE ...

Just LOVE the photo I took last Saturday of Jeff, Callum and I on the bench in the woods, so much so that I had to scrap it immediately. I also just love the French Twist paper by Autumn Leaves that I used in my previous layout and used some again in this one. This time I teamed it up with another of my favourites Tutti Frutti from Basic Grey's Lollipop Shoppe range. LOVE how the pink, blue and greens are so vibrant against the brown cardstock. Also gave me a chance to use one of my Ali Edwards stamps.

Another thing I just LOVE is the cute little banner from Annie that I picked up from the post office depot yesterday morning. The boys and I took a walk there (fortunately only a short walk) and on the way home we went to the playground that's just round the corner from our house. I couldn't wait any longer to open my parcel, so whilst they played cars I opened the very well sellotaped parcel. Today I found a new home for it, in the utility room above a very cute enamelled bucket and watering can I had brought back from our holiday last year (the paper flowers were made by Matthew and I). I decided to put it here because when I'm doing the housework I can see it and remember to be 'glad'. Thanks Annie!

Yesterday afternoon I took Callum for his second appointment with the skin specialist at the hospital. We were there for ages and didn't get home until gone 6pm. Came away with yet another cream to try, this time it's a non-steroid based cream which is good because we were concerned about the amount of steroid cream we'd been using. We also came away with lots of tubular bandages for 'wet wrapping'. This is when you apply a fairly thick layer of cream onto the skin, followed by a wet tubular bandage and then a dry one on top. Basically we have to make a suit consisting of arms, legs and vest, then tie them together once we've got it on him. I can see being a complete nightmare to do, especially as he doesn't even stay still whilst having his normal cream put on. We will only be attempting this when his skin is very bad, plus it will need the two of us to do it. Keeping fingers crossed that the new cream will work and that we won't need to do wet wrapping!

I'll leave you with some photos taken this week; The boys playing buses on Tuesday, Callum building a tower with the help of Uncle Mike on Tuesday and Matthew with the robot he built this morning. LOVE these boys!

One last thing, don't you just LOVE it when you get new magazines, I know you do Janine. Well today I shall mostly be reading my new Creating Keepsakes and Simple Scrapbooks magazines and getting inspiration!
