Last Saturday we headed to Center Parcs Longleat to visit Sheila and her family who were staying there for a week. An hour's journey in the car was all it took, although to Matthew this was still a 'long time'. He kept asking how much longer and with Matthew minutes don't seem to mean much to him, so we had to tell him it in the number of Dora or Numberjack episodes! Good job that when we did get there he quickly made a new friend...

We had a great time, headed straight for the pool / water complex, even Callum enjoyed the water especially the lazy river, which incidentally Matthew wasn't so keen on. Sheila and I left the children with our husbands to go down the 'rapids' - so much fun, we laughed all the way and went around again. Swimming could have been a disaster though as I'd left the bottom half of the tankini at home. Good job they had a pool boutique right outside the changing rooms!

The kids played great together, having never met before it's amazing they can become good little buddies so quickly. When they played in the soft play area Matthew, Maddie and Callum went around together and helped each other get up the step - so sweet! Thank you Sheila and your family for letting us spend a day of your holiday with you, we all had a great time.
