So far Matthew has been happy to go to school and there have been no tears, very pleased about this. School is too far from home to walk all the way so we have driven to a friends house and walked in with them, usually it has been Ben. It's lovely that we have been able to do this, Matthew has been running on the way there and been eager to go to school - long may that continue! It does however mean that we have to leave home at 8:15 in the morning, so time can be a bit tight - we are not the best at getting somewhere on time!
We had a fun day out on Sunday at Legoland meeting up with our friends Susanne (with Isabelle and Hannah) and Sara (with Ella and Daniel). Legoland was really good, both boys enjoyed it although Matthew did announce when we arrived that he wasn't going on any rides! Having said that he did go on some rides as did Callum who luckily was 1cm over the minimum height requirement. Here's some photos of what we got up to...
Isabelle, Ella and Matthew looking at Mini Land, famous world landmarks made out of lego. Callum & Daniel deciding where to go next!
Queueing up for the Carousel. Us girls and the kids on the carousel.
Matthew and Jeff at Digger School - Matthew's favourite. Callum in the playhouse at Duploland - he loved it up there!
Jeff and Callum up high in the Helicopter Ride and Matthew and I in another one. Everybody loved this ride and it was our last ride of the day.
And this is the stunning view you get from the entrance / exit of the park. You can see Windsor castle on the right and in the distance you can even see the new control tower at Heathrow airport. I loved this view because I used to work in Windsor and Jeff used to work at Heathrow Airport.
I've been busy making things for the indoor market in one and a half weeks time. Have been knitting more bags ready to be felted, made some really cute girls hair clips with felted flowers, have been cutting fabric to make bunting, drilled holes in wooden hearts ready to be painted and threaded with ribbon. Still need to actually finish bags, bunting and hearts and make some more cards, doorstops and possibly a couple of cushions. So a little way to go yet!
If by any chance you are interested in buying any of my handmade things I would very much LOVE that. When I've finished making them I'll post photos and prices etc.
