Bouncy Birthday Boy
Seems so long ago...

Party on Dude!

Must be great to be a kid and have lots of birthday parties. We had another one for Matthew on Sunday for his and our friends from my ante-natal group when I was expecting Matthew. We lived in Surrey then and we still keep in contact, meeting up when we can. It's been a pretty busy social life recently because our babies were born between the end of March and middle of May. Our little babies are all now 5 years old, how time has flown!

We just had 6 kids for this party, the other 5 (including siblings) weren't able to make it. This was a perfect number though because they could all sit around the coffee table for their party tea. A cute little table for the kids complete with polka dot tablecloth, Charlie and Lola plates, cups and napkins. To eat they had pizza, little sausages, party ring biscuits, mini jammy dodgers, jelly and cupcakes (and cucumber, tomatoes and grapes!). They had a great time, chatting, singing and making up rude Happy Birthday songs - yes kids we could hear you in the dining room (which is where we were eating). And just how many kids can you fit under a coffee table?

They was lots of time spent playing in the garden and party games indoors, including of course the obligatory pass-the-parcel 'round 2'!

My cupcakes weren't as good as the week before, but here's a picture anyway. Plus I got to bake Matthew a birthday cake this week which he helped to decorate, it was his idea to add the jelly babies!

Have a good rest of the week.
