Day 6 in my Week in the Life project.

Hanging the washing out in the lovely warm sunshine. Today it reached about 20 degrees centigrade.

It was so warm it was time to hunt out the summer hats and suncream.

Good old go-karting fun out on the front drive with the kids from next door. (I took some movie footage too)

Baking some yummy cookies topped with a chocolate M&M.

An afternoon of playing football, cricket and baseball in the back garden with the neighbour kids.

When it was time for us to light the barbeque the kids took the goal posts out the front to play. Here Callum is wearing one of the other kids helmets - he looked so cute!

Chloe decided to actually venture outside today in the daylight!

Tidying away the Lego instructions. (I keep them all in a file so that we can easily find them when we need to).

Back indoors and having a well deserved rest!

Bedtime in Matthew's room. Chloe often comes in at story time - she loves getting strokes from Matthew.

Zonked out - they had a very busy, fun packed day...

...and were absolutely exhausted!
