Today we watched the Red Arrows perform at The Bournemouth Air Festival.

Today like every other day we've seen them, we were in awe of their skill and courage. 

Today we were shocked to heard that one of the red arrows had crashed near Bournemouth Airport after doing a final flypast display before coming into land.

Today we heard that the pilot of Red 4, Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging died in the crash.

Today our hearts go out to his wife (who had been watching the display), his family, his friends and his fellow pilots.
